Low-E galss is an online new pyrolytic multi-layer coated glass produced by chemical vapor deposition (CVD) process,which is capable of preventing the far infrared heat from passing through the coated glass. It has a high transparency of near infrared and visible light and thus creates no light pollution. It is the first choice for glazing and curtain walls in cold climate. It is also suitable for refrigeration display or icebox applications as well as high class buses and trains.

Low-e glass has stable chemical and thermal as well as mechanical properties, therefore they can be processed and treated like uncoated glass and used as single pane glazing. They also can be used in Insulated Glass Units, removing of the coating on the edges during the fabrication of the IGU's is not needed due to the stable and mechanical properties of the coating .
